TosaFest returns to Wauwatosa Village, Sept. 9-10, 2022

TosaFest, presented by Shorewest Realtors, is back after several years in Hart Park

July 28, 2022—TosaFest—a long-running street fest featuring live music, food, and more—will return to the heart of the Village of Wauwatosa in September, after several years of being held in nearby Hart Park.

The all-new, revamped TosaFest, presented by Shorewest Realtors, will feature live music on 3 stages, 3 beer gardens, the TosaFest Food Court, a Wauwatosa Vendor Market, Joe’s Walk Run and Roll on Saturday morning, “FoodieFest Experiences” such as a “Meet the Maker” cheese tasting, and much more.

“It’s exciting to see the expanded offerings TosaFest 2022 will bring to the Village,” said Beth Gleesing, City of Wauwatosa Tourism Specialist. “With businesses and restaurants from throughout the city participating, the event will provide a true taste of Tosa to locals and visitors.”

The first TosaFest was held in 1976 on the streets of Tosa Village, and quickly became a
staple summer event. The fest was moved to Hart Park in 2018 due to road construction in the Village, and continued there in subsequent years.

“We are thrilled to bring TosaFest back to its original location in 2022,” said Chris Leffler, president of the Wauwatosa Business Improvement District and owner of Leff’s Lucky Town in Tosa. “We’re looking forward to working closely with Wauwatosa businesses and the community to make TosaFest better than ever.”

This year’s TosaFest will be held on State Street between Harmonee and Wauwatosa Avenues, and along Underwood and Harwood Avenues. The festival will run September 9 from 5 p.m.-11 p.m., and September 10, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. For more information, visit www.wauwatosavillage.org/tosafest.
